Peanut Butter Sandwich

Anyone who's been with Jonah for an extended period of time knows he's quite finicky about food. He loves baby food green beans, gold fish, bananas, pizza, fries, and Ritz and that's about it. That being said, today at lunch after Jonah finished his green beans I asked if he wanted "bread" (I used that word because Daddy had success feeding him toast yesterday by calling it bread). He enthusiastically agreed, so I made him a peanut butter sandwich. I held my breath through the first bite thinking he would immediately reject it. Much to my surprise he said "Yum" and ate the entire thing! I'm thankful for this new avenue of protein in his diet! I hope his enthusiasm for peanut butter sandwiches continues! :)

Yay Jonah! What a big boy!
PB sandwiches are a staple around here. Cole would eat one everyday for lunch if I'd let him (but NEVER any jelly :) ).

How exciting! Don't forget MiMi's Special Porridge. You know he loves that too. He has almost outgrown all of MiMi's special things. :(

YEAH JONAH! I know this was an exciting day for you! And I'm so glad that he has a protein in his diet now :) He looks so happy. Adeline has just recently started eating peanut butter ( I had a fear of feeding it to her) and she actually licks it off the crackers and discards the crackers.

We get Marissa to eat meat by calling it all Chicken, she now eats Roast, Salmon, and of course Chicken lol...Its been very frustrating but be rest assured the older they get the better it gets! Slowly but surely!!
